For your final project you are to write a research assignment on any topic of your choice relating to French. Pick something you’re interested in, whether it’s language, fashion, food, art, literature, history, etc.
This is an individual assignment. Your assignment needs to be in essay* format, should be approximately 3 pages (double spaced, typed), and should include at least 3 different sources (for which you need to include a bibliography). You may write in English, however you will receive bonus marks if you write in French. You will have 2 classes in the computer lab to work on these. Your assignment is due either on June 19 (block F) or June 20 (block C), on which day you will also be presenting to the class. Your presentation should only be about 2 minutes - just enough to tell the class what your topic was and what you learned. There is no need for visual aids.
